Skills
Gallery coordinator:
Solicit proposals, select projects, curate 24 exhibitions per academic year, promote outreach to community, assist with installs and de-installations, promote exhibitions through press releases through posters and electronic media, plan and manage opening receptions, maintenance over gallery space, manage gallery budget for supplies.

Graduate assistant:
Managing and Maintaining a working studio by: anticipating and ordering studio needs, restocking student supply kits, restocking supply cabinets in class room, replacing B tanks; properly organizing, replacing, and properly disposing of chemicals, cleaning and caring for an electroformer, managing student shows by collecting student work, creating labels, and installing work on display boards and pedestals.

Woodshop:
Advanced knowledge with woodworking equipment such as: table saw, dado saw, compound miter saw, band saw, scroll saw, drill press, mortise press, table router, hand router, band sander, disc sander, hand sanders, planer, hand planer, jointer, biscuit cutter.

Sculpture:
Proficient with plaster casting, 2 part molds, multiple piece molds, silicone mother molds, plaster carving, wax carving, steel fabrication, TIG welding, MIG welding.

Ceramics:
Experienced with mixing clay bodies such as porcelain, stone ware, and earthen ware, mixing glaze, mixing porcelain slip cast. Expertise in wheel throwing, hand building, slip casting, firing traditional electric kilns and gas kilns as well as atmospheric kilns such as soda kilns and wood kilns.

Textiles:
Proficient with natural dye methods, acid dye methods, indigo dye on cotton, silk gauges, silk organza, cotton broad cloth, and wool. Expertise in hand sewing techniques, machine sewing techniques, pattern making for clothing and found object, wool felting wet and dry, silk screening onto fabric, digital printing onto fabric.

Metalsmithing:
Expert knowledge in hand sawing, riveting, annealing, soldering, hollow form construction, wire forming, sheet raising, forging, wax carving, silver casting, bronze casting, injection wax molds, alginate molds, electroforming, acid etching metal, patinas, hydraulic press, small lathe turning, polishing and buffing, stone setting such as gypsy, prong, bezel, and tube settings.

Enameling:
Advanced Knowledge in cloisonné, piqué a jour, champlevé, raku, sgraffito, riso (silk) screen, china paints, enamel decals, torch firing.
